In celebrating their 175th anniversary in 2006, Agri-Expo created From the Earth, an expo that emphasized the Society’s involvement in agriculture and their support in promoting the image of agriculture in the Western Cape.  This expo was created in a format to secure future sustainability of this unique showcase and now, once more, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture – Western Cape, From the Earth 2009 will be presented.

Agri-Expo is an Agricultural Society established in 1831.

The Society presented shows at Rosebank and Goodwood and today is known for the successful presentation of the annual South African Cheese Festival, the SA Young Wine Show, Indoor Horse jumping championships, open-air World Cup Show Jumping events, the South African Dairy Championships and many more.
